Hydrocoolers

Forklifts place full bins directly onto the heavy-duty chain conveyors of our hydrocooler, which will draw the load into the cooling tunnel; the speed and direction of the conveyors are adjustable to keep up with changing demands. As the bins are moved through the tunnel, cooled water will drench the produce via the spray bars lining the hydrocooler’s stainless steel interior walls. These nozzles are hard plastic and are self-draining to prevent freeze damage in outdoor applications. Once the cooled bins leave the tunnel, they are unloaded with a forklift.

Portable units can run as many as 13 tons per hour while our stationary hydrocooler will process 25 tons per hour. Reduction in temperature of up to 50 degrees. Our built-in filtration units make cleaning easy and do NOT require the machine to be shut down!
